Brands Hatch brings curtain down on history making BTCC season

02 October 2026

The Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship arrives at Brands Hatch next weekend (10/11 October) for its traditional end of season fixture on the Grand Prix circuit. Tickets for this marquee autumn fixture are available at discounted advance prices until 4pm next Thursday (8 October) with further reductions for 13-15-year-olds and FREE entry for under-13s – click here to book now.

This season’s closer will feel a little different as, rather than acting as a nail-biting conclusion to the title fight, it will offer fans an opportunity to celebrate the end of a history-making campaign. Ash Sutton arrives at the Kent circuit, freshly crowned as the series first ever five-time champion, and with the outcome of the main prize settled, the gloves could well come off!

With the pressure reduced at the very top of the order, Sutton, plus rivals Tom Ingram, Dan Cammish, Adam Morgan and countless others can all push flat out with a sole focus on chasing victory. Saturday’s Race to Pole will offer fans a first taste of wheel-to-wheel action on the GP layout, before Sunday brings another year to a close with a triple-header.

Additional contenders to have enjoyed victory this year include Josh Cook, Charles Rainford, Gordon Shedden, Aron Taylor-Smith and Tom Chilton. This weekend also marks the end of an impressive debut campaign for the Power Maxed prepared Audis, with both Mikey Doble and Aiden Moffat winning races this term.

Of the non-winners this campaign, hoping to alter things before the weekend is out, Daniel Rowbottom is surely one to look out for in his CPRL Mercedes. He won the inaugural Race to Pole back in April, however. Another competitor who is unlikely to leave anything on the table.

The full BTCC programme for the weekend includes Free Practice on Saturday morning ahead of the Race to Pole later the same day. This comprises a traditional qualifying session, which sets the grid for a short, sharp race immediately afterwards. Sunday then features three full-length races to end another season of action.

A range of other classes will end their 2026 seasons too, including the Caterham Seven Championship UK, Porsche Carwow Sprint Challenge GB, the Wera Tools F4 British Championship, Power Maxed MINI CHALLENGE and Porsche Carwow Carrera Cup GB. Click here to view the full timetable.

Fans will also have a chance to meet their favourite drivers during a free pit walk on Sunday morning at 9am.

Race day tickets are available from £36 in advance prior to 4pm on Thursday 8 October with further reductions for 13-15-year-olds and FREE entry for under-13s. Weekend and Saturday options are also available. For more information and to book now, click here.
