British Touring Car Championship organiser, TOCA, has confirmed that there will be an additional qualifying race for all cars on the Saturday of each BTCC event in 2026. Tickets for next year’s events at Brands Hatch, Donington Park, Oulton Park and Snetterton are available now.
The new qualifying race comes in addition to the traditional Sunday triple-header, meaning there will now be four opportunities for fans to see the BTCC stars battle wheel-to-wheel during a race event. Saturday’s race, following separate free practice and qualifying sessions, will determine the grid for Sunday’s opening contest.
The full format will be finalised and announced in due course, with Sunday’s offering retaining three full rounds of racing.
Admission tickets for the six rounds at MSV venues will initially be frozen at this year’s prices until the end of December, with main race day admission just £35, further reductions for 13-15-year-olds and completely free entry for under-13s. Tickets are available as either digital e-tickets or as physical printed copies (which make perfect Christmas gifts) for your convenience.
