The Historic Sports Car Club's 2022 season commences at Brands Hatch, with two days of retro action on the Indy circuit this weekend (2/3 April).

A wide range of classic machinery from the sport's past will take centre stage, including single-seaters, GT cars, and tin tops. Highlight open-wheel categories will include Classic Formula 3, Formula Atlantic, Historic Formula Junior and Historic Formula Ford 2000.

The crowd-pleasing Historic Touring Cars will be out too, with a grid of '60s saloons ranging from compact, giant-killing Minis to bigger muscle cars with American V8 power. Other classes in action will include the '70s Road Sports and '80s Sports and GTs, plus the Historic Road Sports.

The line-up will be completed by the Classic Clubmans, with a grid of front-engined sports-prototypes.

The paddock will be open throughout the day, enabling spectators to take a closer look at cars in preparation and meet the teams and drivers.

Tickets for the Historic Sports Car Club at Brands Hatch on 2/3 April are available in advance from £14 with discounts for 13-15-year-olds and free entry for under-13s.
