Jason O'Halloran topped the final Bennetts British Superbike Championship free practice session at Brands Hatch this morning, launching the McAMS Yamaha to the top of the times, holding the advantage over his teammate Tarran Mackenzie ahead of SUPERPICKS Qualifying.
O'Halloran had continued to build momentum during the session and when the chequered flag fell he was 0.145s ahead of the defending champion, who has had a resurgent weekend so far as he continues his recovery from injury.
Championship leader Bradley Ray was third fastest just ahead of Lee Jackson on the Cheshire Mouldings FS-3 Kawasaki with Glenn Irwin completing the top five for Honda Racing UK.
Tommy Bridewell was the leading Ducati in sixth place, nudging Rory Skinner into seventh place with the Scot an incredible 0.001s ahead of Ryan Vickers on the FHO Racing BMW with Attis Sports.
Kyle Ryde and Peter Hickman completed the top ten, nudging the MCE Ducati pairing of Tom Sykes and Josh Brookes into eleventh and twelfth respectively.
