Before the championship reaches Kent, the penultimate round takes place at Donington Park this weekend (5/6 September). Morgan Tillbrook and Ben Barnicoat lead the GT3 standings by 13.5 points, while the GT4 battle is even closer: Will Orton and Jessica Hawkins hold an advantage of just 1.5 points, with the leading four crews separated by only 7.5! The results at Donington will set the stage for an unmissable final showdown at Brands Hatch.
British GT title race reaches boiling point
A two-hour feature race on Sunday headlines proceedings, with mandatory pit stops and driver changes adding to the tension during the final moments of this year’s title fight. GT3 and GT4 machinery will share the full Grand Prix circuit, making traffic management another crucial variable.
Spectacular supercars from Aston Martin, Lamborghini, McLaren and more are expected to battle around one of the country’s most celebrated circuits.
More crucial championship action
The weekend also features high-level single-seater competition, with the penultimate round of this year’s GB3 Championship and the GB4 season finale. With vital points on offer, the next generation of F1 hopefuls will be pushing to make their mark on the single-seater ladder.
Former F1 Academy champion and history-making GB3 race winner Abbi Pulling will be one of the star attractions, whilst Nikita Bedrin looks to strengthen his commanding advantage.
There will also be support racing from Ginetta Juniors, Ginetta GTs, and Ginetta GT Academy.
