Kyle Ryde started the second day of the ZYN British Superbike Championship Showdown Finale by topping the times in Free Practice 3. The Nitrous Coin Nitrous Competitions Racing rider edged out Max Cook and Scott Redding in the closing seconds of the session to move to the top, with the top ten covered by just 0.737s.
Ryan Vickers continued to show pace for Honda Racing UK in fourth, while Leon Haslam rounded out the top five, just half a second down on Ryde's quickest lap. Rory Skinner was sixth for Cheshire Mouldings Yamaha, followed by the Bathams AJN Racing Ducati of Storm Stacey. Completing the top ten was Bradley Ray, Joe Talbot and Danny Kent.
Qualifying is up next as the Showdown Finale weekend continues at Brands Hatch, with Q1 getting underway at 12pm before ROKiT Oxygen Performance Qualifying will decide who claims pole position ahead of a crucial first race this afternoon.
