Brands Hatch 2026: Celebrating 100 years with A Century of Power
Brands Hatch is looking forward to a season to remember in 2026, when it marks its 100th anniversary as a competitive sporting venue with a special ‘Century of Power’ programme across the whole year. Commemorative activities are planned throughout the calendar, including special demonstrations, displays and guest appearances.
You’ll have to wait a little longer before all the details can be shared, but for the time being, here is everything you need to know about the Kent circuit’s anniversary season:
Best-ever programme of historic events
A key part of the celebrations will be formed around a strong line-up of cornerstone nostalgic race meetings. This includes the all-new London Historic Trophy on 19-21 June, the first ever standalone Motor Racing Legends event on the Grand Prix circuit. This will celebrate the venue’s heritage as the host of significant sports car racing, with an eclectic race and demo schedule.
Other throwbacks include the refreshed Touring Car Rewind event (1/2 August), at which the Classic Touring Car Racing Club will shine a light on tin top tradition. The Historic Sports Car Club and Masters Historic Racing also retain dates on the full GP circuit, providing visitors with a superb retro selection, including classic Formula 1 cars at the latter event.
Crowning every major national champion
All of the UK’s major national circuit racing champions will be crowned at Brands Hatch in 2026. The circuit will host two rounds each of the British Superbike Championship and the British Touring Car Championship, including a Grand Prix circuit season finale for each of them. British GT’s final round will also be held on the GP circuit, whilst the British Truck Racing Championship decider will once again feature as part of Bonfire Night celebrations.
Two wheel showpieces
So much of Brands Hatch’s past is steeped in motorcycle racing history, and that will be celebrated across two centrepiece two-wheeled events next year. The height of summer British Superbike Championship event on 17-19 July will act as the headline two-wheeled celebration, but the Classic Racing Motorcycle Club fixture on 4/5 July will also adopt a ‘100 years’ theme.
Overarching theme
The MSV team has thought long and hard about how best to celebrate the remarkable centenary of Brands Hatch. It was clear that there is far too much motorsport content to merely have a single centenary event, so the whole of 2026 will celebrate every aspect of Brands Hatch’s rich history with a whole series of special events, forming our Brands Hatch ‘Century of Power’ programme.
The overarching theme of a century of power will be celebrated in many ways throughout the year, with demonstrations, displays, guest activities and other themed activities across the board. Every major car race meeting will feature special elements marking Brands Hatch’s history, whilst the summer round of BSB will act as the centrepiece motorcycle event, with further details to be shared in due course.
Centenary Season Passes
Guarantee your place at the track for Brands Hatch’s centenary season with a season pass. This is the best value way to experience all the action, and will save literally hundreds of pounds for regular visitors.
Further details of everything planned for 2026 will be shared in the coming weeks and months across Brands Hatch’s social media and web channels. For more information about the circuit and upcoming events, please visit www.brandshatch.co.uk.
