KMR Sport's Alex O'Grady set the quickest time of the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit test on Thursday, to end pre-season testing on top of the times.
The Irishman, heading into his second GB4 season with the multiple champions, registered a best lap of 1m25.153s in the final session of the day, putting him a whopping seven tenths of a second clear of the field.
His nearest challenger was Elite's Fred Green, who was just 0.059s quicker than Hillspeed's Enzo Hallman, with the second Elite car of Charlie Smith, sampling the series for the first time, was an impressive fourth quickest and 0.052s in arrears.
Conor Grant was the lead Douglas Motorsport runner in fifth, a scant 0.015s ahead of Fortec's Franek Cegielski with Connor Willis 0.062s behind for Hillspeed and three thousandths of a second ahead of Fortec's Thomas Ingram Hill, who had topped the two sessions earlier in the day.
Pace Performance duo Torrin Byrne and Josh McLean completed the top-10.
Pre-season testing for GB4 is now complete, with four different drivers having topped the total of seven official days across tests at Snetterton, Donington, Silverstone and Brands Hatch. Luke Hilton, who wasn't present at Brands Hatch, has topped three of the seven days for Nitrous Competitions ADM Racing, while Ingram Hill was quickest on both days at Silverstone. With Fred Green fastest on the final day at Oulton Park, and now O'Grady leading the way at Brands Hatch, the form book points towards a very competitive season opener at Silverstone on 25/26 April.
