GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS returns to Brands Hatch for two sublime days of action on the full Grand Prix circuit this weekend (2/3 May). Brands Hatch’s Sprint Cup fixture, featuring a pair of one-hour races on Sunday, is the highest profile GT event you’ll see on British soil this year. Star names like MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi, plus GT specialists Maro Engel and Lucas Auer, will take to the track for contests including pit stops, driver changes and plenty of intrigue. The cars are real blockbusters, with GT3 race cars from Ferrari, Porsche, Aston Martin, McLaren, Mercedes, BMW and more expected to make an appearance.

This year’s event will also form part of the circuit’s 100th anniversary celebrations, in addition to marking 30 years since the maiden running of an SRO GT meeting at the venue in 1996. This will be marked by a special demonstration of iconic 90s supercars on Sunday. The event will also feature supercar displays off the circuit, plus a lively support race programme.
