An action-packed opening round of the 2026 season delivered a sensational tin-top weekend, with shock winners, the debut of the "Race to Pole" and a new-look grid producing plenty of door-to-door thrills.

Plato Racing made a dream start as Daniel Rowbottom won the first BTCC Race to Pole qualifying race, while Power Maxed Racing and Mikey Doble scored an unexpected Race 1 win behind the wheel of the brand-new Audi A3 Saloon machine.

Now, the championship turns its attention to the Brands Hatch Indy circuit on 9/10 May. Expect more high-speed drama and close racing at the fast Kent circuit, as Tom Ingram, Ashley Sutton, Dan Cammish, Gordon Shedden and more battle across Saturday’s Race to Pole and Sunday’s three headline races.
