Daryl DeLeon claimed the final pole position of the 2025 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship season at Brands Hatch this afternoon (Saturday). The WSR BMW pilot lapped the Grand Prix circuit in 1m28.930s to top a super close session.
DeLeon moved to the top of the order during the final moments of a closely fought session, surpassing Dan Cammish’s best effort in the NAPA Racing UK Ford by just 0.023s. Cammish had one final opportunity to defeat DeLeon as the session came to an end, but wasn’t able to improve, settling for second.
Daniel Rowbottom will start third in tomorrow’s opening race, after lapping just a further hundredth of a second shy than Cammish in the sister car. Tom Chilton and Adam Morgan completed a top-five which was split by just a single tenth in their Team VERTU Hyundais.
Jake Hill was the final driver to make the final Quick Six portion of the knockout session, and will start sixth for the opening race of his final weekend in the BTCC.
The two title contenders will start a little further back after being eliminated during the second phase of the session. Tom Ingram just missed out in seventh, whilst Ash Sutton will start all the way down in 11th.
Three races will decide the outcome of this year’s championship tomorrow. Tickets are available on the gate with reductions for 13-15-year-olds and FREE entry for under-13s.
