EuroNASCAR confirms entry list for SpeedFest clash at Brands Hatch

30 May 2025

The NASCAR Euro Series has confirmed a strong entry list across the PRO and OPEN divisions for the championship’s return to Brands Hatch at American SpeedFest 12 powered by Lucas Oil on 7/8 June.

A colourful selection of 22 NASCAR machines will storm into the Kent venue for four action-packed races, with two contests each for the top-tier Pro division and the second-class Open division. Ford, Mustang and Toyota are all represented in the entry, with most cars being shared by two drivers across both divisions.

In the Pro division, Frenchman Paul Jouffreau arrives at Brands Hatch as the championship leader in his RDV Competition Ford Mustang, following a bright start to the campaign which has included two wins from the opening four races. Reigning champion and PK Carsport driver Vittorio Ghirelli is Jouffreau’s nearest challenger, only three points behind.

Greece’s Thomas Krasonis is the last of the three primary challengers at this stage, in the second PK Carsport machine.

Fans at the trackside this weekend will also have the chance to cheer on not one, but two home heroes. Max Marzorati arrives for his second SpeedFest appearance following a strong showing last year. Jack Davidson, meanwhile, is chasing his best Pro class results yet after stepping up this year. Davidson made history at Brands Hatch last June when he became the first ever British driver to win a NASCAR Euro Series race in the Open class.

The Open class sees the same cars taken onto the track often in the hands of different drivers. A handful are on double duty, however, including Greek ace Thomas Krasonis who leads the standings in addition to his third place in the Pro standings.

Frenchman Thomas Dombrowski and Austria’s Patrick Schober make up the chasing duo, piloting a PK Carsport Chevrolet and RDV Competition Ford respectively. The top-three are separated by only three points, meaning it really is all to play for at Brands Hatch. Gordon Barnes also flies the flag for Britian in the Open class.
