The 2025 EuroNASCAR season continued in Italy last weekend, as championship leader Paul Jouffreau and home hero Vittorio Ghirelli took a win apiece in the PRO class, ahead of the series’ trip to Brands Hatch next month.
In the first of two PRO class races, Paul Jouffreau led away from pole position in his RDV Competition Ford Mustang to cross the line ahead of Gianmarco Ercoli in his Alumetic Racing Ford Mustang, with reigning champion Vittorio Ghirelli finishing in third after an early battle with Jouffreau. However, Ghirelli secured the fastest lap of the race and earned himself pole position for the second PRO race of the weekend.
In race two for the PRO class, home hero Ghirelli converted his pole position into a victory as he piloted his #24 PK Carsport Chevrolet Camaro home to Victory Lane ahead of Liam Hezemans’s Rette Jones Racing Ford Mustang. The Dutchman kept Ghirelli honest throughout, with the Greek youngster, Thomas Krasonis, rounding out the podium.
Martin Doubek finished fourth for Hendriks Motorsport, with Gianmarco Ercoli rounding out the top five after holding off race one winner Paul Joffreau.
The EuroNASCAR championship now gets ready to make the journey to Brands Hatch to headline the on-track action at American SpeedFest 12 powered by Lucas Oil on 7/8 June.
