Kent’s Brands Hatch motor racing circuit is gearing up for another superb season of motorsport in 2025, with action on two, four or even six wheels planned most weekends between mid-March and November. This kicks off with the BMCRC Club Bike Championships on 15/16 March, where a huge entry is expected, with flagship international meetings, major national championships, special festivals and countless grassroots fixtures in the the months that follow.
The best of British motorsport
Brands Hatch will host all of the UK’s leading national circuit racing championships over the coming months, including two rounds of both the Bennetts British Superbike Championship (BSB) and Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship (BTCC).
Bennetts BSB will race twice on the full Grand Prix circuit, including for its traditional height of summer clash on 25-27 July, when thousands of bike lovers will descend upon the venue for a weekend-long festival of motorcycle racing. The leading riders on the domestic scene will then return on 17-19 October to crown a champion following a triple-header season finale.
The BTCC will race on both Brands Hatch layouts, with three early season races within the Indy circuit’s natural amphitheatre on 10/11 May ahead of the title decider on the extended GP configuration on 4/5 October.
Sublime supercar thoroughbreds
Global superstars will race to Brands Hatch for the venue’s annual visit from GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS on 3/4 May. A stellar cast of international drivers, and a huge entry of 32 cars, is expected to take to the famed Grand Prix circuit for two races, lining up at the wheel of machines from Lamborghini, Audi, Porsche, Mercedes-AMG and more. The McLaren Trophy will also make a debut appearance at Brands Hatch with an exclusive grid featuring the Artura Trophy race car.
British GT will offer up a mouth-watering supercar treat of its own at the height of summer, with a two-hour feature race for GT3 and GT4 cars on August Bank Holiday weekend (23/24 August). This event will also include a chance for fans to glimpse the potential F1 stars of the future in the GB3 Championship partnered by the BRDC and its junior sister series, GB4.
Super-sized SpeedFest
American SpeedFest 12 powered by Lucas Oil will arrive at Brands Hatch for two days of supercharged action with a distinct stateside theme on 7/8 June. Track action will include the NASCAR Euro Series, the only sanctioned racing of its kind you’ll see in the UK, along with themed support races and demonstrations for stock cars and V8s.
This year’s event will also include the biggest edition yet of the SpeedFest Music Festival presented by CountryLine Radio. Acclaimed country artist BRELAND is the first confirmed headliner for this year’s music offering, which will feature two days of on-stage performances. Additional entertainment will include car displays, themed food and drink, stunt shows and much more, access to which is included in one single ticket price.
Heavyweight champions of the track
The giants of British motorsport will take centre stage at two British Truck Racing Championship (BTRC) events on the Indy circuit this year. The first of these will launch the major events calendar with a quintet of races for five-tonne monsters at Easter (19/20 April).
Brands Hatch will host the final five races of the BTRC season too, with the title decider coming as part of the Trucks and Fireworks in association with Dynes spectacular on 1/2 November, where sparks will fly on the circuit ahead of one of the South East’s leading fireworks displays. Sunday and weekend tickets for this are expected to sell out once again.
Themed festivals
The circuit will host a packed schedule of automotive festivals throughout the year too, each with its own distinct theme. These include the Mini Festival (3 August) and Brands Britannia (31 August), both of which will celebrate the British motor trade in their own way. Festival Italia is another popular returning event, with Ferraris, Fiats, Alfa Romeos and more all heading to Brands Hatch on 10 August.
Modified car shows will form a key part of the calendar too, with Tunerfest South (15 June) and Go Japan (7 September) each bringing a performance-focused car show alongside circuit action from Time Attack UK. Ford Power Live (14 September) will shine the spotlight on cars bearing the iconic ‘blue oval’ badge with racing, demonstrations and displays.
A new addition for this year is Mismatch at the Hatch on 16 August, a celebration of ordinary but well loved cars. A variety of standard roadgoing machinery from before 2005 will be invited to join the fun.
Golden oldies
Motorsport history will be celebrated across several retro events this summer, starting from the Masters Historic Festival which shifts to a slightly later date of 31 May/1 June. This popular meeting will pay homage to the circuit’s past as the host of Grands Prix and major international sports car events.
Another hotly anticipated nostalgic showpiece will be Super Touring Power 3 on 28/29 June, with heritage headline action from the Classic Touring Car Racing Club Super Tourers. The fondly remembered touring car era of the ‘90s will be front and centre, but special cars from the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s will all form part of a special weekend for tin top fans.
The Historic Sports Car Club’s Legends of Brands Hatch Superprix also returns for a weekend’s of retro racing on the Grand Prix circuit on 12/13 July.
A full season of grassroots competition
Brands Hatch will retain its place as one of the country’s club racing heartlands this season too, with a full programme of grassroots action. This starts with the BMCRC motorcycle event next weekend (15/16 March) when the club is expecting possibly its largest entry in many years, before Equipe Classic Racing hosts the first four-wheeled event of the year a fortnight later (29/30 March).
Other club racing highlights will include Grand Prix circuit outings for the No Limits Bike Championships (26/27 April) and GT Cup (17/18 May), whilst the Porsche Club GP Raceday on 24 May will use the longer layout too. Standout club-level meetings on the shorter Indy circuit include the Classic Motorcycle Club ‘Race of the Year’ (27/28 September), the legendary Formula Ford Festival (25/26 October) and the returning BARC Into The Night Race (8 November). Ferrari Challenge UK returns this year too and will use both versions of Brands Hatch on 21/22 June.
Many other event organisers will visit this year, including the 750 Motor Club, British Racing and Sports Car Club (BRSCC), British Automobile Racing Club (BARC), MotorSport Vision Racing (MSVR), the NG Road Racing Club and the Classic Sports Car Club (CSCC).
