BMCRC set for biggest season opener entry in years at Brands Hatch this weekend

14 March 2025

The British Motor Cycle Racing Club (BMCRC) Bike Championship season will kick off with its biggest entry for a season opener in many years at Brands Hatch this weekend (15/16 March). Tickets are available at discounted advance prices until 4pm today (Friday) with further reductions for 13-15-year-olds and FREE entry for under-13s.

More than 320 motorcycles will take to the famed Indy circuit across Saturday and Sunday, marking a significant increase in entries when compared to the same event last years. As a result, the BMCRC Thunderbike 500 class will run alone as a standalone grid for the first time. The BMCRC F1 and F2 Sidecars are also in excellent health with a capacity grid, plus reserves.

A wide range of motorcycle machinery will take to the circuit across the weekend, with 39 races scheduled catering for an eclectic mix of classes. Click here to view the timetable.

Other participating classes include the MiniTwins, Suzuki SV650s, Reactive Parts MRO Powerbikes, MRO Retro 1000s and many more of the BMCRC’s regular championships and series with large grids expected across the programme.

The paddock will be open throughout the event, enabling visitors to meet the teams and riders and to take a closer look at the bikes as they’re prepared for battle.

Discounted advance tickets are available for £16 each day with reductions for 13-15-year-olds and free entry for under-13s. After 4pm on Friday, tickets will only be available at full prices on the gate. For more information, click here.
