The 2025 EuroNASCAR season got underway last weekend in Spain, as Paul Jouffreau and Thomas Krasonis opened their accounts with a win apiece in the PRO class, with the latter securing OPEN class victory as well to cement the Greek driver as the early championship leader.

In the first of two PRO class races, Paul Jouffreau led away from pole position in his RDV Competition Ford Mustang to claim victory from the young Greek star Thomas Krasonis, who crossed the line in second in his PK Carsport Chevrolet Camaro. Former BTCC champion Yvan Muller rounded out the podium for M Racing in third, followed by reigning EuroNASCAR champion Vittorio Ghirelli in fourth and Liam Hezemans in fifth.

The second PRO race of the weekend saw Thomas Krasonis secure top-flight victory for the first time, leading home his PK Carsport teammate Vittorio Ghirelli in a controlled win. Krasonis became the first Greek driver to take victory in EuroNASCAR’s top division, and as a result, thanks to his podium in the first PRO race and a win in the OPEN class, Krasonis left Spain as the early championship leader.

Paul Jouffreau finished race two in third, followed by Yvan Muller in fourth and Sebastiaan Bleekemolen completing the top-five for Team Bleekemolen.

The EuroNASCAR championship now heads to Italy before making the journey to Brands Hatch to headline the on-track action at American SpeedFest 12 powered by Lucas Oil on 7/8 June.
