The 2024 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship officially goes right down to the wire with local driver Jake Hill tied on points with Tom Ingram ahead of three races on the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit next month (5/6 October). Hill has enjoyed his best season to date in the BTCC with seven victories in his Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport BMW. But Team BRISTOL STREET MOTORS ace Ingram has combined consistency with five wins of his own to head into the final event of the year, level with Hill on 365 points.

Reigning champion Ash Sutton arrives in Kent 33 points behind the leading duo, and with 67 points still to play for the four-time title winner won’t give up on the crown until he’s officially out of it. Others with outside chances include Dan Cammish, Josh Cook and Colin Turkington who’ll all be hoping to take advantage should those ahead encounter trouble.

Three BTCC races will decide the outcome on Brands Hatch’s famous longer layout, with the end of season presentations taking place on the grid afterwards. Plus, a range of other champions will be crowned with support series coming to a close for the year too.
