Brands Hatch race season launches with BMCRC bike action this weekend

15 March 2024

Brands Hatch’s 2024 race season kicks off with the British Motorcycle Racing Club (BMCRC) Bike Championships this weekend (16/17 March). This two-wheeled entertainment on the Indy circuit will be the first competitive meeting at the Kent venue this year, with now fewer than 37 race weekends planned between now and November.

A wide range of motorcycles is expected to take to the track across Saturday and Sunday with 44 races scheduled in total for a variety of classes. Click here to view the timetable.

Bikes on show will range from 1000cc track specials, built for racing, to bikes prepared in more of a production specification. Sidecars will feature too, adding some extra variety to the programme as teams of two work together to balance their three-wheeled machines around the track.

Highlight classes will include the Reactive Parts MRO Powerbikes, the MRO Clubman 1000 Cup and the new for 2024 MRO Retro 1000s. There will be races for 600cc motorcycles too plus action from many of the BMCRC’s regular championships and series.

The paddock will be open throughout the event, enabling visitors to meet the teams and riders and to take a closer look at the bikes as they’re prepared for battle.

Discounted advance tickets are available from £15 if you book before 4pm on Friday (15 March). They'll be available on the gate at full price. Further reductions are available for 13-15-year-olds with free entry for under-13s. For more information and detailed prices click here.
