Brands Hatch confirms full 2024 event calendar

19 February 2024

Kent’s Brands Hatch motor racing circuit is set for another superb season throughout 2024, with high quality action on two and four wheels planned all year. This includes flagship international meetings, major national championships, themed festivals and enough club-level racing to ensure the circuit is active most weekends from March through to November.

National highlights

Brands Hatch will host all of the UK’s leading national championships between now and the end of the season, including two dates each for the Bennetts British Superbike Championship (BSB) and Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship (BTCC).

Bennetts BSB’s fixture on 19-21 July promises to be a summer showpiece, with a refreshed rider line-up taking to the famed Grand Prix circuit whilst thousands of campers bring the festival atmosphere all weekend long. The best bikers in the land will return to the venue’s iconic longer layout on 11-13 October too for the final three races of the Bennetts BSB season.

The BTCC will race on the compact Indy circuit first, with an early season fixture on 11/12 May, ahead of a season finale on the full Grand Prix layout on 5/6 October.

A feast of supercars

Leading talents from the world stage will descend on Brands Hatch when Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS returns for its only UK round on 4/5 May. MotoGP megastar Valentino Rossi will be amongst the international entry list, as he makes the first of his two planned 2024 Sprint Cup outings at the wheel of a BMW M4 GT3.

More mouth-watering supercars will appear when the British GT Championship stages its final round on the GP circuit. GT3 and GT4 cars will share the spotlight in a two-hour feature race as Brands Hatch hosts the decider for the first time since 2009 on 28/29 September. This weekend will also offer visitors an opportunity to glimpse the next generation of aspiring F1 hopefuls in the GB3 Championship partnered by the BRDC and its junior feeder series, GB4.

Family fun

American SpeedFest 11 powered by Lucas Oil comes to Brands Hatch on 8/9 June with two days of supercharged action headlined by the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series – the only sanctioned stock car racing of this kind you’ll see in Britain. This super-sized event will blend the colour and excitement of the on-track show with an off-track offering to match, featuring American car displays, themed food and drink and all sorts of entertainment for individuals of all ages. The weekend will also include the SpeedFest Country presented by CountryLine Radio music festival, access to which is included for all ticket holders.

The heavyweights of British motorsport will take a starring role in the Brands Hatch season too, with two rounds of the British Truck Racing Championship planned. Five-tonne race trucks will first take to the track at Easter (31 March/1 April) before the calendar wraps up with a return visit for the Trucks and Fireworks spectacular on Sunday 3 November.

Blasts from the past

Brands Hatch will celebrate motorsport’s history with a selection of special retro events throughout the summer, including the Masters Historic Festival on 25/26 May which pays homage to the venue’s era as the host of Grands Prix and major World Championship sports car racing.

Super Touring Power 2 will focus primarily on saloon car racing heritage with headline action from the Classic Touring Car Racing Club’s Super Tourers. This will recreate the fondly remembered touring car era of the ‘90s, whilst additional displays, demos, races for older tin tops and guest appearances will add to a special atmosphere.

The Historic Sports Car Club’s Legends of Brands Hatch Superprix returns on 13/14 July.

Themed festivals

The venue will host a range of additional themed festivals throughout the season too, including the popular Mini Festival (4 August) and Festival Italia (14 August). Brands Britannia returns for a second year in succession on 26 August, whilst fans of one of the planet’s most popular car scenes will have a date of their own to look forward to with Ford Power Live on 15 September. Time Attack UK and the Motorsport UK DriftPro Championship will visit too as part of the Tunerfest South (16 June) and Go Japan (8 September) performance shows.

A full season of grassroots competition

Beyond that, there is a full season of club racing to look forward to, starting from the traditional early season motorcycle event organised by the British Motorcycle Racing Club (16/17 March). Equipe Classic Racing will then host the first four-wheeled fixture of the year on 23/24 March ahead of the British Truck Racing curtain raiser.

Other club racing highlights will include GT Cup's outing on the GP circuit on 18/19 May and the No Limits Club Bike Championship event around the Grand Prix circuit on 29/30 July - the only non-BSB two-wheeled event on the longer layout. The legendary Formula Ford Festival retains its traditional autumn slot on 19/20 October.

Many other event organisers will visit this year, including the British Racing and Sports Car Club (BRSCC), British Automobile Racing Club (BARC), MotorSport Vision Racing (MSVR), the 750 Motor Club, the NG Road Racing Club and the Classic Sports Car Club (CSCC).

Great value and free entry for kids

Under-13s always go free to events at Brands Hatch, making this a great value day out for all the family. Further reductions are available for 13-15-year-olds and you can always save a little extra by purchasing in advance - don't leave it until the last minute! On top of that, parking is free in all of the primary public car parks so there is no hidden additional cost. Adult advance tickets for race events start from just £15!

Season passes still available

If you like the look of this year's line-up, you can secure access to a full calendar's worth of events with a season pass. Brands Hatch season passes grant access to all events at the Kent circuit, including all headline fixtures for cars and motorcycles. Two and four-wheel passes are also available for those hoping to attend events for their preferred discipline at Donington Park, Oulton Park, Snetterton and Cadwell Park in addition to Brands Hatch.
