The TCR UK Championship will be decided at Brands Hatch, with six drivers still in with a chance of claiming the title ahead of the series’ appearance as part of the Formula Ford Festival this weekend (21/22 October).

Carl Boardley leads the series standings with 350 points in his Cupra Leon. The value of his points advantage is greater than a victory though, with Area Motorsport duo Adam Shepherd (303 points) and Bruce Winfield (294 points) his nearest competitors in Hyundai i30 Ns.

Boardley can win it in the first race as a result but the momentum lies with Shepherd after a commanding display at Donington Park last time out. He came close to a maximum score in the first race with a second place start and the win. Also in contention are Jenson Brickley, Jac Constable and Alex Ley. Points are available for qualifying and two races across the weekend.

TCR UK forms part of a bumper race line-up on the Indy circuit this weekend, with TCR UK’s official junior support series, the Fiesta Junior Championship, also in action. The Civic Cup, Mini Se7ens and Mini Miglias will all feature on the bill too in addition to the headline Formula Ford single-seater action.
