Motor racing fans will be transported back to the past when the Masters Historic Festival returns for a nostalgic Bank Holiday showpiece on the Spring Bank Holiday Weekend (Saturday 27/Sunday 28 May). And there is still time to save on discounted admission by booking tickets before 4pm on Thursday (25 May) – click here to book now.
Star attractions will include Grand Prix cars from 1966 to 1985 in the Masters Racing Legends category. Resplendent in period liveries, machines from McLaren, Tyrrell, Lotus, Williams and more will bring the classic sights and sounds of F1 to a venue which hosted British and European Grands Prix throughout the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s. 17 cars are included on the provisional entry list - the strongest grid in years.
Other highlights will include the Masters Endurance Legends series for ‘90s and ‘00s Le Mans machinery, including top level LMP1 prototypes. The Masters Sports Car Legends will shine a light on sports-racing cars from an earlier period and there will be other classes for retro GT and touring car machinery too, including the HRDC Gerry Marshall Trophy, with a superb 40-car entry.
Discounted advance tickets are available for £23 on Saturday and £28 on Sunday, with reductions for 13-15-year-olds and free entry for under-13s. For more information, including timings and a provisional entry list, click here .???????
