



Brands Hatch will host MG Fest, the MG Car Club’s official national event, this August. This is a completely new fixture for the circuit, blending motorsport with a key social date for enthusiasts of one of Britain’s best loved marques.
A highlight among the on-track attractions will be the MG Cockshoot Cup, a long-standing and beloved MG Car Club race series which will feature a wide variety of machines bearing the classic ‘Morris Garages’ emblem.
Off the circuit, the venue will be filled with a vast array of MG and Rover cars of all ages. This will include extensive representation from the MG Car Club, passionate individual owners, and contingents from additional MG orientated groups. Further entertainment will include the MGCC California Cup Autotest and Autosolo competition, MG Motorsport demos and displays, plus an MG world record attempt.

The Cockshoot Cup is a solid silver trophy donated to the MG Car Club in 1934. The cars are split into four classes. Class A is for MGZR 170 saloon cars, Class B is for road-modified MG Midgets and MGBs, Class C is for fully-modified cars and Class F for road-going modified MGF and MGTF.
The championship acts as a "pocket rocket" series, focusing on affordable, competitive racing for MG Metro and Rover 100 models.
A popular UK-based, multi-class "mini-endurance" racing series for club-level production cars, featuring 45-minute races with mandatory pit stops.
A new championship for 2026 for all VAG-performance cars, bringing VW, Audi, SEAT and Cupra together.
A premier UK one-make racing series for modified Mk7 Ford Fiesta ST180s.
A leading UK circuit racing series designed for young drivers aged 14–17, providing a crucial stepping stone from karting to senior car racing. Using modified Mk7 Ford Fiesta 1.6 Zetec S models.

Brands Hatch will celebrate MG with a stunning display of classic and modern cars. Hundreds of vehicles will be on show at this inaugural festival at Brands Hatch dedicated to the iconic MG and Rover marques.

Experience the thrill of the California Cup Autotest, returning to Brands Hatch for one of the MG Car Club’s most iconic motorsport events. With over 60 years of history, this exciting autotest competition combines driving skill, precision and friendly rivalry in a fun, accessible format for all MG enthusiasts. Taking place in a dedicated area of the venue for attendees to spectate.

This is ex-Colin McRae MG Metro 6R4 will take part in a special MG Motorsport demonstration on-track on the Indy circuit, and driven by Ben Barkaway.

Jason Hughes will be driving on circuit his 2002 MG ZS BTCC car, which he competed with in period. The special MG Motorsport on-track demonstration will take place during the lunchbreak.

Visitors to MG Fest will have the rare opportunity to see one of the most remarkable cars in MG's history when the legendary 2003 MG ZT-T X-15 Bonneville record car goes on display. Known around the world as "The World's Fastest Estate Car," the MG ZT-T X-15 achieved an astonishing 225.609 mph. For more information CLICK HERE.

Spread throughout the venue will be a vast display of MGs from across the decades, creating a rolling timeline of the brand’s evolution. From pre-war treasures and post-war classics to 1970s icons and modern MG Motor models, the diversity of MG ownership will be on full display.

A trade area will be in operation all weekend, with stalls selling parts, accessories and driver and team merchandise.

The paddock is open to all, allowing you to wander and see racing cars up close before they take to the circuit.
