The BRSCC Formula Ford Festival returns to Brands Hatch for a 53rd edition, taking on a special theme in honour and celebration of one of its previous champions – Gerrit Van Kouwen.
Following the Dutchman’s passing earlier this year, the BRSCC has elected to honour Van Kouwen, 40 years on from his victory in 1984. For more information, CLICK HERE.
Unlike traditional events, drivers will be drawn into heats as part of a knockout race format in their Kent-engined Formula Fords. These initial races on Saturday will be followed by semi-finals and the all-important Grand Final on Sunday. Other previous winners include Jenson Button, Johnny Herbert and Mark Webber.
A full support programme includes the Mazda MX-5 Championship, Mazda MX-5 Clubman Championship, Mazda MX-5 SuperCup, CityCar Cup and the Evolution Trophy - which features on a combined grid the BMW 1 Series SuperCup, Renault Cup and Classic VW Cup.
Special guests Q&A - to celebrate the Gerrit van Kouwen 200 Formula Ford Festival a Q&A will be taking place in the Kentagon on Saturday evening from 18:30 - all are welcome. To see the list of special guests taking part CLICK HERE.

Free Parking
All public parking at this event is free of charge, and will be located inside the venue, via the main entrance. Blue Badge holders should see a member of staff on arrival to be directed to the dedicated disabled parking area.

Check out the Brands Hatch adventure playground near the Kentagon restaurant, which has equipment for children of all ages from toddler to 14.
