Super Touring Power 2 returns for another weekend devoted to retro tin tops this summer. The award-nominated event will transport fans back to the ‘90s with a special focus on one of the BTCC’s most fondly remembered eras.
Track action on the Grand Prix (Saturday) and Indy (Sunday) circuits will be curated by the Classic Touring Car Racing Club, with two headline Super Touring races per day. Special machines from Nissan, Vauxhall, BMW, Honda and more race competitively with bona fide BTCC stars Jake Hill, Anthony Reid and Steve Soper amongst those confirmed to race.
The Super Tourers will act as a focal point, with the race cars complemented by a selection of display and demo machinery - for more information on cars attending click here. Star guests will appear for interviews on the Autosport Stage too, with BTCC champions Laurent Aïello and John Cleland, legendary broadcaster Steve Rider and 2012 World Touring Car Champion Rob Huff amongst those joining the celebrations.
Additional action will include touring car racing for machines from the ’60s through to the ‘00s, including an all-new dedicated race for ‘80s Group A cars including Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500s and BMW M3 E30s. There will be pre-2000 car displays too and you can CLICK HERE to apply to show your road model or touring car replica.
