Senior Media and PR Officer
MotorSport Vision (MSV) is seeking a Senior Media and PR
Officer, a new position, to be responsible for the promotion and PR
for the Group and its products - particularly its major race
MSV is the owner and operator of five UK motorsport venues: Brands Hatch, Oulton Park, Snetterton, Cadwell Park and Bedford Autodrome. MSV also operates the British Superbike and BRDC British Formula 3 Championships, and organises trackdays and race events via its MSV Trackdays (MSVT) and MSV Racing (MSVR) departments. The PalmerSport corporate hospitality driving event is run by MSV at Bedford Autodrome.
MSV's media operation is based in its head office at Brands Hatch, and is comprised of three full time Media and PR Officers and a Media and PR Assistant. Supporting resource is provided by the Graphic Design department and the Web Development team.
Main duties and responsibilities
Working closely with the Group Head of Sales and Marketing, you
will devise and implement creative and effective plans that
generate coverage in influential media, resulting in substantial
exposure for MSV and its products and services. There will be
strong emphasis on new media, particularly social.
You will also have responsibility for developing the existing Media and PR team, and lead by example with exceptional copywriting on the most important projects, including key media releases. Forging media partnerships to drive awareness of MSV's growing portfolio of in-house events will be another key aspect.
Successful candidates must have a proven track record of working in Media and PR and achieving high quality promotion and publicity. Substantial knowledge of and enthusiasm for motorsport is essential, and motor industry experience an advantage.

- Previous managerial experience would be preferred
