Sunday 7 February 2016
For the 12th year running, Brands Hatch is hosting its annual Villagers' Day. Those of you who've lived in the area for a while may know that we organise a charity fundraising event e ach year just for members of the local community, featuring many exciting driving experiences. This year's event will take place on Sunday 7 February 2016.
For a small donation per activity, you can participate in a number of unique experiences, including the chance to drive the Indy circuit in a BMW M4 Coupe. Alternatively, you might prefer to descend into swampy marshland in an all-terrain Land Rover, storm through forest stages in a works-prepared rally car or be a passenger in our Palmer Jaguar JP-LM Le Mans-style sportscar.
Please bring two recent utility bills as proof of your local residency.
Last year's Villagers' Day raised over £3000, and as with previous events, all of the money raised was donated to local causes as agreed with the Brands Hatch Liason Group, consisting of representatives from the local area together with circuit owner Jonathan Palmer. The chosen recipients were the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance Trust, Demelza House Hospice and West Kingsdown Primary School.
We are very happy to offer these exciting experiences for a fraction of their retail value, but in view of the high cost of running them we think it's fair that the chosen charities receive a greater contribution in return. We hope that you won't object to a small increase in each donation, every penny of which will be passed on to vital causes.
The time slots allocated to each experience indicate the time that
you will need to arrive at the MotorSport Vision Centre for
registration, and not the time you will start in the vehicle.
The finish time for each activity will be approximately two hours
from the time of registration.
It is not possible to partake in activities on consecutive time slots.
PLEASE NOTE. All participants must bring a recent utility bill (last 3 months) as proof of local residency, and all driving participants need to bring their valid full driving license.
