Vee Festival and Victor Meldrew Trophy
Brands Hatch (Indy)
Saturday 29 - Sunday 30 October 2016

The traditional end of season festival for Formula Vee is renowned for superb racing action, close grids and plenty of drama. The heats and final format provides short, adrenaline-fuelled encounters that make this a breathless day full of excitement.

Formula Vee cars are inexpensive, VW Beetle-based single seaters and provide cost-effective racing on a budget. As a result, there are usually plenty of cars on the entry list and with drivers racing on pure adrenaline, action is guaranteed!

The event is supported by the popular and irreverent Victor Meldrew Trophy, a handicap event for talented drivers who, for one reason or another, never quite made it to the top of the sport!

Additional support is by the Monoposto championship for single seaters, the Volkswagen racing cup,  the Lotus Cup Sprint Series, and the MSVR All-Comers.

Victor Meldrew Trophy

A unique saloon car race with a handicap system that allows a varied grid with an extensive performance disparity to compete on a level playing field!

Formula Vee

These races are open to a plethora of different single-seater machines, powered by VW engines. Wings are prohibited, allowing for close wheel to wheel racing similar to that seen in Formula Ford.

Volkswagen Racing Cup

Expect close racing throughout the field in this one-make series for VW machines. Impressing in this series can lead to being noticed in the BTCC or GTs.

Monoposto is a popular series for fans and drivers alike. It features two grids, one for smaller Jedis, Formula Fords, and Speads, the other for Dallaras, Ralts and Van Diemens. This series has some of the biggest grids in UK motorsport.

Lotus Cup UK Sprint Championship

The Lotus Cup UK Speed Championship is a sprint championship with ten rounds scheduled at venues across the country. Its aim is to introduce more enthusiasts into the world of competitive Motorsport and is suitable to those with road cars.

MSVR All-Comers

MSVR All-Comers is a series open to any closed wheel racing car. Grids consist of an eclectic mix of entries, ranging from sports, sports racing and tin top cars.
