The Masters Historic Festival returns to Brands Hatch this
weekend for a traditional Bank Holiday of classic racing
The FIA Masters Historic Formula One Championship features a busy grid of normally-aspirated Grand Prix cars raced during the 60s, 70 and 80s, including stirring machinery from Williams, Lotus, Tyrrell, Arrows and more. Particularly nteresting cars include a Williams FW07, the very car with which the Grove squad claimed its first-ever victories and titles with in '79 and '80, and the Shadow DN5 - a cult favourite car in which Jean-Pierre Jarier claimed the opening two pole positions of the 1975 Grand Prix season.
The FIA Masters Historic Sports Car Championship recalls a golden era of endurance racing, featuring some of the most beautiful race machines ever built. Expect to see Lola T70s and Ford GT40s bringing a flavour of Le Mans to the venue.
This year's event will also feature the Super Touring Car Trophy for machines from 1970 to 1999, including the Super Touring Cars that saw the BTCC surge in popularity in the 1990s, with the cars running exactly as they did in period. Star entries include a pair of pristine Peugeot 406s run by period racer Patrick Watts, and a Vauxhall Vectra for John Cleland, the man who won the championship 20 years ago.
F1 Demos - A selection of additional Grand Prix cars will take to the track for demonstration runs on Sunday. These include a Benetton B196, as driven to third place in the 1996 F1 Constructors World Championship by Jean Alesi and Gerhard Berger, a Prost AP02 and a 1989 Lotus 101 which was driven in period by three-time World Champion Nelson Piquet in period.

Super Touring CarsRecalling the BTCC's greatest era, the 1990s, when manufacturers employed the best drivers in the world. Hondas, Nissans, Vauxhalls, BMWs and Peugeots from tin top racing's halcyon days will all feature. Expect to see a few famous names on the grid.
FIA Historic Sports CarsThe FIA Historic Sports Cars recall a golden era of endurance racing, featuring some of the most beautiful race machines ever built. Expect to see Lola T70s and Ford GT40s amongst an evocative entry list.
Gentleman DriversThis category provides short endurance races for GT cars built and raced before 1966. With pit stops and in some cases multiple drivers this event showcases Jaguar E-types and alike in full racing regalia.
Pre-66 Touring CarsOld school touring cars should offer plenty of sideways entertainment with everything from American V8 giants to our very own home-grown Minis out on track!
Formula Ford Invitation RaceSlipstream battles at the spiritual home of Formula Ford can be expected here, with these low downforce machines constantly battling for the best position.
Motor Racing Legends Stirling Moss TrophyThe Motor Racing Legends Stirling Moss Trophy is home to a host of pre-1961 sportscars, with longer two-driver races creating an authentic historic racing experience.

All advance tickets have now been dispatched and were sent by either Recorded or Special Delivery, meaning a signature is required. The Masters Festival isn't just a race weekend. There will be F1
demonstrations, static displays of F1 cars and a host of off-track
activities to keep everyone entertained.
F1 DISPLAYS AND DEMONSTRATIONS
A selection of additional Grand Prix cars will take to the track for demonstration runs on Sunday. They will also be on static display throughout the event in the area behind Pit Straight grandstand.
As you enter through the gates, a mouth-watering array of classic cars awaits you, a stunning mix of the old and new. There will be many famous and legendary marques on display all of which have been restored and maintained by their owners. OVer 400 examples are expected, with thanks to the following clubs:

Check out the Brands Hatch adventure playground, which features a motorsport theme and has equipment for children of all ages from toddler to 14.

You can also test your mettle with go-karting on a mini version of the Brands Hatch Indy circuit, located opposite the Megastore. Operated by Buckmore Park, karting is available for all those aged 8+ and costs £12 for ten minutes, payable at the karting circuit.

What time do the gates
Gates open at 8.00am on Saturday and 8.00am on Sunday.
How much does it cost to park?
Parking is free of charge for all public car parks. If you wish to park within the Infield area or on the Southbank (the large grassed area opposite Cooper Straight) the charge is £2 per car on the Saturday and £5 per car on the Sunday. If you plan on parking on these areas you will need to display a pass. Please click here to download one.
What time does the campsite
There is no charge for camping, however there are no facilities available. The campsite opens at midday on the Friday before the event and will close on midday on the Tuesday after the event.
Can I get into the Paddock and Pit areas?
There are no restrictions on access to the Support Race Paddock.
Can I listen to the commentary by radio?
Yes - Radio Brands will be transmitting the commentary over all three days on 87.7FM.

You can access free WiFi at the restaurant(s), pit lane and main grandstand areas. Registration is required.
Am I entitled to any discount for being a carer?
Carers of our disabled guests may be entitled to free admission at MSV race events. Please contact our call centre on 0843 453 9000 for further details, no later than three days before the event you wish to attend.
Is there Disabled Parking and Viewing available?
There is designated disabled parking available in the vicinity of Paddock Hill Grandstand and you may also park free of charge on the Southbank. Vehicles parked in these areas must display a Blue Badge.
There is a wheelchair viewing area in Paddock Hill Grandstand with free of charge access to wheelchair users plus one carer. Any additional carers, friends or family must be in possession of a valid grandstand ticket. Please contact our ticket office on 0843 453 9000 to reserve space in the wheelchair viewing area.

What happens if my tickets don't arrive in
All tickets are sent by Royal Mail Recorded or Special Delivery, meaning a signature is required. In the rare instance that your tickets have not arrived in time you will need to purchase them at the gate price and obtain a refund after the event by returning the gate ticket stubs and your original tickets to the ticket office at the address below:

What is MSV's ticket refund policy?
The ticketholder shall only be entitled to a refund or exchange (at MSV's election) if an event is cancelled in its entirety prior to its commencement of the Event for reason(s) that are within the reasonable control of MSV.
Event tickets may not be sold, resold, donated, transferred or in any way disposed of without prior written permission from MSV.
