Britain's most popular pocket-sized car will star at the fourth Brands Hatch Mini Festival, with a bumper line-up of entertainment on and off the track. The racing programme will be dominated by contests for both old and new Minis, from the Issigonis original, to BMW's 21st century reinvention.
Newer machines compete in the Power Maxed MINI Challenge, the fastest Mini racing series in the UK. For 2015, MINI Challenge is divided into two grids, one for the John Cooper Works Mini and the brand new Gen 3, which is the highest-spec UK tin-top available outside the BTCC, and one for the entry-level Cooper Class.
The old guard is represented by the Mini Se7ens, Super Mighty Minis, Sanwa Trophy, and Pre-66 class for the earliest Austin originals. The Mini racing line-up is completed by an all-comers race, which is incorporating the celebration of Swiftune's 50th anniversay. It is open to all types of Mini, including one-off modified specials.
Expect the venue to be filled with Minis, with enthusiasts travelling from far and wide to soak up the atmosphere. There will be opportunities to mingle with like-minded souls from Mini owners' clubs, browse Mini paraphernalia in the trade village, and get closer to the race cars in the open paddock as they are prepared for battle.

MINI Challenge – F56The new F56 MINI Challenge cars are the fastest MINI racing machines in the UK.
Dunlop Mini Se7en ChampionshipMini Se7ens aren't to be underestimated as they're capable of achieving 0-60mph in just under seven seconds and have a top speed of around 110mph. These relatively affordable machines provide great entertainment for drivers and spectators alike.
Dunlop Mini Miglia ChampionshipThese Minis run with modified 1293cc engines and combined with a lightweight 660kg chassis, this allows them to accelerate from 0-60mph in less than five seconds. They are also capable of speeds in excess of 120mph.
Sanwa TrophyThe ultimate test for Mini racers, the Sanwa Trophy, is a 40-minute endurance race for original Cooper Ss. The win was decided by just 0.2s in 2013 after 40 gruelling minutes, and only 10 seconds covered the top six!
Anglo French BattlePre-66 Minis covers the first seven years of production, which ensure that the cars are kept as original as possible. The best cars from the French Trophee Mini Classic series are joining the grid to make this a true Anglo French Mini battle!

Mini & MINI Owners
The legendary Brands Hatch circuit in Kent will once again host the Brands Hatch Mini Festival on 27/28 June with a bigger and better show lined up for 2015!
The event celebrates all things Mini from the loveable classic through to its modern MINI incarnation. In 2014, owners from across the UK and Europe enjoyed the festival and we want to involve many more this year. While pre-sale is now closed, mini owners can join the Mini Display by arriving at the main gate before 10am on saturday or sunday and purchasing a ticket.
On track action will be devoted to the Mini in 2015 with the Mighty Minis and Super Mighty Minis joining the superb race schedule provided from the MINI Challenge, Mini Se7en, Mini Miglias and Pre-66 Minis. Old and new Minis will also do battle on the track in a unique handicap race to decide which variant is best!
Coupled with a superb race schedule, there will be a host of Mini-themed activities away from the circuit, including an extended Russ Swift Mini stunt show across both days, live music, rally demonstrations, a trade village plus much more. Full details will be released in due course.
