BARC will entertain this weekend with a packed line-up of races on the Brands Hatch Indy Circuit. Single seaters, sportscars and tin tops will all be in action, making for an eclectic weekend of racing.
The Michelin Clio Series is for machines reminiscent of those used on the BTCC support bill, so keep an eye out for some notoriously close battles. There should also be similarly frenetic action in the Kuhmo BMW Championship and teenager-orientated Junior Saloon Car Championship in which competitors run very evenly matched machines.
Sportscar entertainment will be provided by Britcar and the MaX 5 Championship, whilst BARC South East will also run their own contest. BARC's Formula Renault Championship will also feature.
The paddock will be open to all spectators this weekend, offering you a chance to meet the teams and drivers.ADVANCE BOOKING HAS NOW CLOSED. TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE AT THE GATE.
Kumho BMW ChampionshipThis series caters for drivers entering older machinery with standard engines as well as more modified kit in newer cars. The championship is divided into four classes based on power to weight ratios.
Michelin Renault Clio Trophy SeriesThis is a cost effective first step into tin top racing, using 2.0-litre Renault Clios as seen on the BTCC support package. Competitors can convert their road-going Clio to race specification for as little as £3000.
MaX 5 ChampionshipThis is a one-make championship for Mazda MX5s, aimed at experienced and new racers alike. The cars run with race-spec wheels and brakes and use a control tyre to maintain a level playing field.
Junior Saloon Car ChampionshipThe Junior Saloon Car Championship allows drivers between 14 and 17 years of age to make a start in saloon car racing. The cars are based on production models and are designed to provide an even playing field at a low cost.
BARC Sports CarsA plethora of tin tops are eligible for this championship, whether they be nimble lightweight hatchbacks or more powerful ex-works machines.
