BARC Club Car Championships
Brands Hatch (Indy)
Saturday 21 - Sunday 22 September 2013

This weekend's focus will be on sports and saloon cars as the BARC host a meeting packed with their very own series.

Tin tops will apear in various guises, including two popular Mini championships in action, the Dunlop Mini Se7ens and Dunlop Mini Miglia Championship.

Sportscars will be represented by the lightweight prototypes in the BARC Clubmans Championship as well as the Porsche GT3 Challenge Great Britain, running similar cars to those seen on the BTCC package.

For younger drivers there is the Sax Max Championship. This one-make series for Citroen Saxos allows teenagers learn their craft from a young age!

There will also be action from the Dunlop Production Touring Car Cup, Michelin Renault Clio Series and Kuhmo BMW Champonship.

Our open paddock policy will allow you to walk freely amongst the competitors and allow you to watch as they prepare their cars for the on track action.

Renault UK Clio Cup

This is a cost effective first step into tin top racing, using 2.0-litre Renault Clios as seen on the BTCC support package. Competitors can convert their road-going Clio to race specification for as little as £3000.

Dunlop Mini Se7en Championship

Mini Se7ens aren't to be underestimated as they're capable of achieving 0-60mph in just under seven seconds and have a top speed of around 110mph. These relatively affordable machines provide great entertainment for drivers and spectators alike.

Dunlop Production Touring Car Cup

Fields consist of production based vehicles, with the top end cars possessing 210bhp per tonne. The cars themselves are relatively inexpensive, making it a great place to prepare for future BTCC campaigns.

Dunlop Mini Miglia Championship

These Minis run with modified 1293cc engines and combined with a lightweight 660kg chassis, this allows them to accelerate from 0-60mph in less than five seconds. They are also capable of speeds in excess of 120mph.

BARC Clubmans Championship

Clubmans are front-engined sports prototypes. Engines can provide up to 240bhp and this combined with a custom lightweight chassis means they are almost as quick as Classic Formula 3 Cars.

Kumho BMW Championship

This series caters for drivers entering older machinery with standard engines as well as more modified kit in newer cars. The championship is divided into four classes based on power to weight ratios.

Junior Saloon Car Championship

The Junior Saloon Car Championship allows drivers between 14 and 17 years of age to make a start in saloon car racing. The cars are based on production models and are designed to provide an even playing field at a low cost.

Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Great Britain

These Porsche GT3 cars are some of the fastest in British club motorsport. The newest Porsche 997s are powered by a 3.6-litre flat-six unit, producing over 400bhp. The previous -spec Porsche 996 is also eligible with a top speed of 177mph!
